What Virtueward is
Virtueward is the umbrella homeschool program. Grades, state profiles, learning pathways, family resources, records, and Moriah support belong underneath the Virtueward identity rather than becoming separate schools or websites.
Educational philosophy
- Parents remain the primary educational authority for their children.
- Curriculum should develop knowledge, reasoning, character, creativity, and responsible independence.
- Technology should serve learning without replacing judgment, relationships, or hands-on experience.
- AI literacy includes knowing when to use AI, when not to use it, and how to verify it.
- Records, standards, and progress should remain understandable to families rather than hidden behind opaque scoring.
Program editions
Virtueward is designed to support a Christian Edition and a Family Values Edition. Edition-specific content does not change the parent-authority, privacy, child-safety, academic-integrity, or AI-governance rules.
National structure
The first live pathway is Tennessee Grade 6 and Tennessee Trail. Virtueward’s structure is intentionally broader: future state profiles and grade levels will use the same public site, family access system, and governance model.
Moriah inside Virtueward
Moriah is Virtueward’s AI learning companion. She can support explanation, practice, research, reading, writing, questioning, and review within defined limits, while the parent remains the educational authority.
Institutional development
Virtueward is not currently accredited. The program is actively preparing to pursue recognized accreditation as its curriculum, governance, student-record, assessment, privacy, accessibility, and continuous-improvement systems mature.
