Rights & Responsibilities

• Control the household account and decide which learners may use Virtueward.
• Choose curriculum edition, optional resources, AI-supported features, and media permissions as those controls become available.
• Review student work, records, and AI interactions that the platform stores for the household.
• Request access, correction, or deletion of covered family information, subject to lawful retention requirements.
• Decline optional data collection or optional AI features without being required to surrender parent authority.
• Receive clear notice when a material policy, data practice, billing term, or program-status statement changes.

• Remain the teacher or educational decision-maker unless the family separately enrolls with a legally recognized school structure.
• Confirm and satisfy the homeschool requirements that apply in the family’s state or jurisdiction.
• Supervise student use, approve external resources, protect account credentials, and review AI-assisted work.
• Provide accurate information and avoid uploading sensitive student information to features not approved for it.
• Ensure submitted work reflects the student’s own learning and follows assignment-specific AI rules.

• Be treated with dignity and receive age-appropriate explanations and learning support.
• Know when AI is being used and ask for a parent or human review.
• Have mistakes corrected without being labeled or profiled by an AI system.
• Use the platform without behavioral advertising or pressure to keep learning activity secret from a parent.
• Report confusing, unsafe, inappropriate, or inaccurate content to a trusted adult.

• Complete assigned work honestly and follow the stated rules for AI assistance.
• Protect passwords and personal information and never share another person’s credentials.
• Use Moriah and other tools respectfully and never try to bypass safety or access controls.
• Tell a parent or guardian when something in the platform feels unsafe, inappropriate, or wrong.

Virtueward will publish its current program status, preserve parent authority, minimize learner data, disclose material AI and data practices, provide support and correction channels, and avoid representing the program as accredited or state-approved until such status is actually granted.
