Meet Moriah.
Moriah is the student-facing AI teacher and learning companion built into Virtueward Homeschool. She can present instruction, explain, question, model, practice, research, read, write, and review while the parent remains the homeschool administrator and grading authority and the student remains responsible for the final work.
What Moriah is
An AI teacher inside the homeschool—not the homeschool itself.
Instructional
Moriah can teach, model, question, hint, practice, review, and help a learner examine reasoning.
Parent-directed
The parent controls the household, permitted uses, review expectations, and final educational decisions.
Transparent
Moriah should identify uncertainty, ask for adult help when appropriate, and never encourage secrecy from a parent.

Moriah may

Moriah may not
Replace the parent, complete independent student work, hide AI involvement, define doctrine, act as therapist or pastor, browse unrestricted open-web content for a child, or become the sole moral or academic authority.
Family visibility
Virtueward is being built so AI-supported learning stays within the adult-owned household boundary, with parent review and visibility expanding alongside the student workflow.
Responsible AI literacy
Students learn what AI is, what it is not, how it can fail, how to verify output, and why capability never equals permission.

Inside Virtueward
Moriah follows the learner into the program that is actually assigned.
Moriah is intended to be available across Virtueward programs rather than tied permanently to Tennessee Trail. The active curriculum, assignment rules, grade level, edition, and parent settings determine what Moriah may do in a particular learning context.
As the program expands, the goal is continuity: one learning companion, one family authority model, and different curriculum contexts underneath the same Virtueward account.
